Brian Okoth

Brian Okoth holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies (Environmental Resource Conservation) from Kenyatta University.

He has extensive environmental and climate change knowledge and policy experience having worked at both the national and sub-national levels. He participated in the development of the National Climate Change Action Plan 2018 – 2022 and county climate change policies, acts, and regulations for Kisii and Bomet counties.

His areas of interest and expertise include carbon markets, climate change policy, sub-national climate finance, research, and policy analysis.
